What is Perfection by Sofia?
Perfection by Sofia is a platform created to build awareness, promote education, and spark understanding around visible differences—starting with vitiligo. We’re here to strike out confusion, fear, and judgment and replace them with knowledge, acceptance, and connection. This is a community built for anyone who has ever felt different—and for everyone ready to understand what they don’t yet know.
Sofia’s Story
I’m Sofia Morello, and I have vitiligo.
When I was four, I noticed a small pale spot on my skin. At first, it didn’t seem like a big deal, but more patches started to show. Doctors told my parents I had something called vitiligo. I didn’t really understand it back then—I just knew it made me look different.
By six, my skin had changed a lot. Some kids at school thought they could catch it and stopped talking to me. Others said mean things and made me feel like I didn’t belong.
Luckily, I have a family that’s always had my back. They helped me stay strong, and over time, I realised that talking about my condition helped others too. I wanted to turn something that made me feel isolated into something powerful.
That’s why we started Perfection by Sofia. It’s for people like me—and anyone else who has ever felt different. Together, we’re creating a place that’s supportive, understanding, and proud to stand out.

Our Mission
Educate: Help people understand vitiligo and other visible differences
Empower: Support young people in finding confidence through community
Grow: Build a network of families, schools, and friends who celebrate what makes us unique

Sofia’s Story
